Using WOOLPEL wool pellets in the garden is easy and a great way to add nutrients, hydration and aeration to your soil.

How to use WOOLPEL Sheep Wool Pellets in the garden when Planting Seeds:

  1. Preparing the Soil: Before planting, prepare the soil as you normally would by loosening it and removing debris. If you’re starting seeds indoors, fill your seed trays or pots with a potting mix.
  2. Incorporating Wool Pellets: For each planting hole or seed tray, mix a handful of sheep wool pellets into the soil. Ensure even distribution to provide a consistent nutrient supply.
  3. Planting Seeds: Plant your seeds at the recommended depth and spacing, covering them with soil. Water the area gently to activate the wool pellets’ moisture-retaining properties.
  4. Mulching: Once your seeds are planted, you can add a thin layer of wool pellets on top of the soil as a mulch. This will help retain moisture, regulate soil temperature, and prevent weed growth.
  5. Watering: Wool pellets will gradually release moisture, reducing the frequency of watering needed. However, monitor your soil’s moisture level and water as necessary to maintain proper hydration.
  6. Maintenance: As your plants grow, the wool pellets will continue to break down, contributing nutrients and improving the soil structure.
